Find My Phone deactivated after Apple Account password change

Find my phone says it was deactivated when I updated my Apple ID login

Original Title: I changed my Apple ID password and then got a message find my phone was deactivated. I went to Settings under my name and find my phone and it's not lit up. I can see that it's green but it's kind of faded so I don't believe it's activated. Thank you
