Voice memo app - freezing iphone and unable to delete

Hi all,

This week I reinstalled the Voice Memos app to make a quick recording. However, every time I open the app, it completely freezes and then crashes my iPhone, which forces a restart.

Since then, I have tried several times to delete or uninstall the app, but each attempt leads to the same issue. The phone freezes and I have to make a forced restart/it does it itself, making it impossible to remove the app.

What I have tried so far:

• Updated to iOS 18.7.1
• Upgraded iCloud storage (now using 78 GB of 2 TB)
• Deleted a large amount of content, including photos, screenshots, messages and files
• Attempted to delete the app via Settings > General > iPhone Storage. After a very long loading time of the apps, selecting the app caused the phone to crash again. iPhone storage list now not showing again.
• ETA: I've looked at the backup details, which say my apps aren't using any data and the next Backup Size never loads. However, I can see from iCloud online, that this isn't correct.

Device information:

• iPhone 13 Pro
• 73 GB used out of 128 GB
• iCloud storage usage: 78 GB of 2 TB

The phone was working perfectly before I reinstalled Voice Memos, so I suspect this issue is related to the app. I deleted any recordings before I uninstalled the app.
