Apple Watch series 10 not charging

I use the charging cable provided with the watch purchase. I know it is optimized charging. However, my watch doesn’t charge. I’ve shut it down and I’ve done a hard turn off by holding the crown and the side button until the apple comes on. I’ve tried different outlets, it’s shows green, that it’s charging, but it’s not. I left it in for 24 hours and it stayed at 44%. The only way I can get it to charge is by doing a complete reset and setting it up like a new watch. But I’m having to do that daily. This is my first Apple Watch, is this normal?
