Two Spotlight search windows and copied text appearing in a large window on macOS Tahoe

I recently upgraded to Tahoe, and I have a problem with Spotlight. When I search, there are two Spotlight search windows: a small one, and a much larger one. And whenever I copy any text to the clipboard, it shows up in the larger window, blocking a large part of the screen at times. What can I do to dismiss this larger window?
