My phone screen broke, and it kept pressing the passcode input. Now it displays 'iPhone Unavailable'. Can I fix it without losing my data, especially since I don't have back up.

Once the phone is unavailable, there is no access to the data. Since you do not have a backup, there is really no access to your data. You will have to restore the device to be able to use the device again and that will delete all of your data. The time to ensure no loss of data is BEFORE catastrophe strikes. Since the screen is broken, you'll need to have it replaced and when the screen is replaced your data will be wiped. This is a painful lesson, when it's so easy to backup nightly with iCloud backup while your phone is plugged in to charge connected to Wifi.
Your data is gone. Nothing you can do about it at this point other than take this as a life lesson in the importance of backing up your data.
