Changing the Home Screen wallpaper to a stock image without resetting the Lock Screen on iPhone

Hi there - I’m trying to edit the wallpaper of my Home Screen from a custom image to one of the stock iPhone backgrounds. I know I can add a new wallpaper and start over. I don’t want to start over, mainly because my lock screen is fine. When I go to change the image on my Home Screen, it only gives me the option to choose from my library and not the stock apple wallpapers. What steps am I missing here?

Go to ur home screen and hold down on it , then you’ll see an “Edit” button in the top left hand corner, click that. Then it’ll give you an option that says “Edit Wallpaper” , click that. Then in the bottom row it gives you options of wallpapers to chose from, click the “Photo” option.

Thanks for the info here. I’m not trying to change my background from an Apple background to a custom one, rather the other way around. I’m looking for the edit function to select a non-photos app background and use an Apple themed one.
