Clock display freezes in nightstand mode

iPhone 16 Pro Max, iOS 26.0.1. Ever since upgrading from iOS 18 I've noticed that the clock display occasionally freezes when the phone is on its charging stand in Nightstand mode, frequently but not always at midnight (or when the clock strikes twelve). It has happened at other times. I can unfreeze it by taking it off the charger and placing it back but it is annoying. This was not occurring before the OS upgrade. Is this a known issue? Has anyone else noticed it?

Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue. Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
Proceed from there as necessary
