Air print doesnt work with IOS 18.7.1

Since updating to iOS 18.7.1, AirPrint can no longer be found, regardless of the device. I have two other devices with iOS 17, and everything works fine. I've tried restarting the network, rebooting the devices, resetting the Wi-Fi, etc., but to no avail.

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 18

Found this as a working solution (for me), from people’s similar problem during v. 17 upgrade.

SYNOPTIC: If your printer supports AirPrint - is set-up correctly and was working as expected prior to the iPadOS 17.1.2 update - you may find that restart of your network components will resolve the problem. You’ll need to restart your network devices in the correct order. Assuming that you WiFi Router provides DNS services for your network, restart devices in this order - allowing time for devices to fully boot/restart prior to restarting other devices:

  • WiFi Router
  • Upstream wired Network Switch(es) (if any)
  • WiFi Access Points / Network Extenders
  • Other fixed infrastructure devices - such as Printers
  • Client devices (your iPad)

Same problem as ingo165’s. Upgraded to iOS 18.7.1, et voila—lost ability to use built-in airprint. Ipad wifi sees the Epson WF-7510 printer in the print-command box (like in Photos, for example), but the command never makes it to printer. Downloading EpsonPrint app gave relief, but it is an undesirable method for me. Jeff Donald asked, “how old is printer,” but what’s the point if everything worked before the 18.7.1 upgrade?
