I switched to Face ID and hate it! It doesn’t work repeatedly. I’ve gone into settings and believe I deleted Face ID but it’s still coming up on some accounts. How do I get rid of it?

You can't delete FaceID.
You can reset it so it it isn't active though, by going into Settings ➜ FaceID & Passcode ➜ Reset FaceID.
There's nothing else that can be done.
Other Apps may want to use it, but if tis not set up they will not be able to use it.

Does your iPhone 12 Pro Max still have its original battery?
