iPhone 16 poster wallpapers not showing during phone calls after iOS 26 update

“iPhone 16 poster wallpapers not showing during phone calls after iOS 26 update: I'm using an iPhone 16 and I'm facing a UI issue with the phone call poster. I’ve set poster images for some contacts, but sometimes the poster wallpapers don’t appear when they call. This issue started after updating to iOS 26.”

Poster Photos Not Working After Update:

A. Confirm this is Enabled:

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: Apps
3. Tap: Contacts
4. Toggle On: Share Name And Photos

B. Perform a Restart:

C. Reset your Network Settings, if Necessary:

Example of items that will be reset: (Wi-Fi Passwords, VPN Connections, etc). So, take some screenshots of this info and then and the info back. Trash the screenshots after all data is restored.

1. Go To: Settings
2. Tap: General
3. Tap: Reset
4. Tap: Reset Network Settings.
5. Enter: [Your Passcode]

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of you occurrences, if you don't report it to them.

3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread.
4. Proceed from there as necessary
