It works the other way around. Software, such as games, need to be optimized for the new hardware (GPUs, CPUs) by the developers. Hardware can’t be optimized for thousands of games. But software (games) can be optimized for specific hardware configurations.
Please talk to the games development team and ask about their plans to update their software.
