iPhone 17 battery drains quickly after 1 hour of use in Low Power Mode

I bought an iPhone 17 three days ago. I charged it to 100%, and after using it for about 1 hour in Low Power Mode, the battery dropped to 86%. I was only using social apps like Facebook and WeChat with a VPN. Is this normal? Now I feel like my 14 Pro Max was even better.

VPN’s can cause excessive battery drain. Facebook has not yet been optimized by Meta for iOS 26.X.X WeChat may be the same. Low power mode won’t help much with poorly optimized apps. What 5 or 6 apps are consuming the most of your iPhones battery capacity ?
