Requesting a refund for a fake or buggy app on iPhone

Hi guys,

I was previously denied a refund request, but the issue is that the app is fake or buggy. I’d like to request a refund again.

Could you please let me know if there’s any other way to request a refund besides the official refund page?

Thank you for your help.

Seems if Apple denied the request : Apple may not have your money. They may have acted much like a bank does, and passed on money for the purchase to the vendor or developer as requested.

You may want to see whether or not the purchase is listed in your purchase history : View your purchase history for the App Store and other Apple media services - Apple Support

If needed:

Check the statement of your payment method to check just where the payment went.

For a purchase from Apple: If you wish you can "report a problem" to Apple:

First: Find the URL for content to report a concern - Apple Support

Then: To "report a problem" :

Go to: https://reportaproblem.apple.com/?s=6

If Apple refused a refund, there's no way I know of to now gain approval for a refund.

Whoever has your money now would be the best place to ask for a refund.

About purchases not billed through the App Store or the App Store’s In-App Purchase system - Apple Support

Eg: says:" If you paid for an app, a purchase within an app, or a subscription outside of Apple’s ecosystem, contact the developer for billing support or a refund.

Apple is unable to provide support for these purchases."

The best source of help for a product not made by Apple (a third-party product) is the company or person who made it—its vendor or developer:

See how to: Contact a third-party vendor - Apple Support

or

How to contact an app developer - Apple Support

Hope there's something helpful to you here.

All the best :-)
