I checked on a bootable partition still at 26.0, and printing is available. This problem is specific to 26.0.1. Any feedback would be appreciated.

So after trying a couple other things, the printer can be added by adding it using the IP address and selecting AirPrint as the protocol. It's a workaround but it works.

You need to use AirPrint with that printer, and AirPrint is part of macOS. First step in troubleshooting would be to delete the printer then re-add it.

Just added the printer Canon MF744Cdw, using the IP address, and now it is working..
I couldn't add it like usual, as it magically disappeared.
I'm having the same issue. My Canon ip670 was printing before I installed Tahoe 26.0.1 on my iMac M3. Now it connects but fails to print. I've tried removing and reinstalling the printer and everything else. Exceedingly frustrating for over a week now. There don't seem to be any solutions.

Blame games are fun. Printing and scanning are working fine for me with an AirPrint-connected HP MFP. How does ‘something happening with Tahoe’ break a Canon printer using AirPrint but not an HP printer using AirPrint?

Tahoe 26.0.1 non compatible for printing with Canon TS6250. Scanning is OK through File Transfer
