Is there an Apple/Verizon liaison?
I recently took advantage of incentives to upgrade my son’s phone with at the Verizon store. Customer service was appalling but trade in and proper monthly incentive credits seem to be applied properly. On October 7th I upgrade my phone at the Apple Store. The experience has been less than impressive and always had better luck there in the past. My trade in experience was fine. However, trying to have monthly credits allowance applied for
the cost of the phone was denied. I was informed it was due to a current discount for being a First Responder of $20 monthly. This caused me to be ineligible for the upgrade incentives. Apple saying it’s a Verizon issue and Verizon is saying it’s an Apple issue after 2 hours in store I buckled and financed $899 on my Apple Card for 24 months. I then contacted Apple via chat and phone support and went round and round. I spoke with sales, tech support, post sales and special tech over the course of another 3 hours. Still no one has any advice. One rep was not even aware of the once being offered.
I have also attempted to reach out to Verizon’s executive team for guidance. Still awaiting a response.
Has anyone experienced similar? Is there a Apple/Verizon specialist? Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
