iPhone not ringing for incoming calls while on Facebook

Problem…

When I’m on Facebook and an incoming phone call comes in…my phone does not ring it just pops up on the Facebook page that a call is coming in. It only happens when I’m on Facebook.

If you happen to look away and do not see the notification you do not know you’ve received a call.

Does anyone know how to get my phone to ring while I’m on Facebook.

Facebook’s app is causing audio issues across a multitude of apps including Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, TikTok and many others. Please backup your device, delete the FB app, restart your iPhone, download a new copy of FB app from Apple App Store.

Meta (Facebook parent company) developers released an updated app to resolve the issue 10/07/25 and users are reporting it has resolved their issue. Your mileage may vary.
