My Apple Watch Series 10 battery life is so short

I love my Apple Watch 10.

i purchased it in February 2025.

my previous model was the 3, whose display snapped off after 4 years. Shame I don’t get my $25 back, oh dear.

the 10 has remarkable battery recharge, which puzzles me to date.

however after 8 months the battery charge time not only doesn’t hold up to it being a new unit, but the lifetime of a recharge is below 1 day.

Is this lithium iron designed to die this quickly?

thanks for reading.

Did you already try to force restart your Apple Watch after the latest update?

To force restart your watch, press and hold the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again.

If this does not help, unpairing and pairing the Apple Watch again has helped other users.
