Find My precision finding find stops working since iOS 26 and 26.0.1

I was having almost exactly the same problem with the same phone and IOS version. Tried all the recommended fixes but nothing worked until I removed all the synced AirTags from the phone and restarted the phone then added them back. Now precision find works.

I’m having the same issue since iOS 26 on my 15 pro max. Still not working on iOS 26.2. Was on the phone with support yesterday. They took logs and will follow up on Tuesday. I’m not hopeful though.

Having the same issue with my 15 Pro. Appears to be an issue only impacting the 15 lineup from what I can see from other reports.

For me, if I restart, factory reset, or remove and re-add the device to Find My, it will start working for a day or two and then stop working again.

I tried that after iOS 26. It worked for an hour and then reverted to the previous problem. I have 7 air tags and I have the same issue with all seven.

I have the same issue with my 15 pro max. I've have an open case with Apple for over 30 days and after several communications still no closer to a resolution. Frustrating

Same here except it stops working within the hour

I continue to have the same issue even after 26.2. No word back on my open case with Apple.

Happening to me too with an iPhone 14 Pro. Exits immediately when I tap find. Play sound works.
