Tried to do restore whatsapp

Original Title: purchased new iphone 17.previously i was using android.i have taken backup in watsapp.but iam unable to restore in my new apple iphone 17.any solution for this?

I am sure you realize that the problem is only with your WhatsApp data and at one time Meta did not even allow it to be transferred from an Android phone to the iPhone. With so many people transferring to the iPhone, they have attempted to make it possible, but that has been so problematic that Meta has included 2 support articles with the specific requirements that must be followed to allow the transfer.
