Apple Watch Series 11 has much lower volume.

Has anyone else noticed that the volume from the Apple Watch Series 11 is significantly lower than the level from a Series 10 watch and earlier watches? I noticed as soon as I switched watches and I gave the 10 to my brother so I can't do a direct comparison now. :-\ But it is very obviously has a much lower maximum volume for the ringtones as well as pretty much everything. With the volume maxed, if I'm wearing a long sleeve shirt the odds are pretty high that I won't here an alert or ring which wasn't a problem with the Series 10 watch with the same shirt in the same environment. And the haptics are seldom attract my attention but that has been true with all the watches and iPhones. Some of it may be old age, but I didn't have a problem hearing alerts and rings on my watch previously.

I don't know if it is a hardware or software issue but it is definitely making it less useful for me. :-(

Did you check, in in Settings/Volume & Sound, the option "Automatically Adjust Volume" is enabled?

If yes, the volume of your ringtones and alerts will be adjusted to the ambient noise around you. In a quiet room, for example, the sound will be reduced noticeably.
