Macs and iPhones do not support Bluetooth pairing with each other. They do make use of Bluetooth to support some Continuity functions – but not in a pairing way.
What are you trying to do? Macs and iPhones can work together in many ways:
- Through iCloud synchronization of photos, calendars, notes, contacts, files, and more (Set up iCloud on all your devices - Apple Support)
- Through access to shared e-mail accounts (which can have associated calendars)
- Through Continuity features (Continuity features and requirements for Apple devices - Apple Support)
- Through manual synchronization (Intro to syncing your Mac and your devices - Apple Support).
- Through subscriptions to services like Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Arcade, and Apple News+ that have been designed to support multiple types of Apple devices (Entertainment - Services - Apple)
Macs based on M-series chips (such as your 24" iMac) can also run iPhone and iPad apps - if the developers of those apps allow it. (Apps designed for iPhones and iPads may not be as well optimized for Macs as native apps, but some work well, and this gives you greater selection).
