iPhone 14 with iOS 18.7 displays 'replaced battery' message despite no battery replacement

Original Title: iphone 14 , ios18.7 started saying i replaced may battery and i shlud restart it through repair assistant. i tree doing so and it failed to complete the repair but i had not even replaced my battery. what do i do to resolve this. "

You will also get that message if the battery is failing. Contact Apple support:


Best way: 

  • Install the Apple Support app on your iPhone or iPad - you can contact support directly from the app, and the tech will have (with your permission) access to diagnostic data on your device



Other options:

(Note that both of the above have options to receive a callback or chat)
