How to make top symbols (clock, wifi, battery) black on lock screen with white background

So I recently changed the photo on my lock screen and the top of the photo is white and because of this the clock, wifi signal, and battery at the top of the screen, which are also white, are almost impossible to see. Now when I open up my phone those symbols all turn black. My question is how can I make them black while the screen is locked?
