Separating Apple Accounts and iCloud backup after divorce

my wife & I divorced in March. My phone was the ‘main’ number.

We need everything separated now.

When she tries to do anything…it refers to MY email.

She has been paying $.99 a month for iCloud back up and wishes to cancel that.

How do we accomplish these feats?

She is 1800 miles away from me…and doesn’t like to have to communicate with me…

Apparently you and your wife have shared an Apple Account while you were married. If so, this was a big mistake, as each person, regardless of age, needs her/his own Apple Account.

So at this point, all the material associated with that Apple Account belongs to one person - the account holder. The other person needs to start from scratch as a new Apple user by creating her/his Apple Account and proceeding from there.

Make sure that each family member has a unique Apple Account - Apple Support
