How to consolidate an iCloud account.

I am setting up my main iCloud account with custom domains. Because I previously set up a separate iCloud account for one of those domains, I cannot add that to the main account. If I delete that second account, will I then be able to add it to my main iCloud account? I obviously don't want to delete it only to later find I cannot add it to the main account.
