The battery icon has a warning sign in it on the lock screen. I've checked Settings, tried to click on the icon itself, but I can't find any information about it.

This could be a glitch, but could well indicate an issue with your battery.
If I understand correctly, this only happens in the lock screen, right? So when you unlock your mac, the battery icon is normal? And clicking on it then provides no indication of any problem?
Hold down Option key and from the Apple menu choose System Information, then click on Power.
What does it say about your battery condition, charge capacity, number of cycles?

Ignore the information shown on the lock screen. Many times it will contain old outdated information. My guess is that it is due to a bug with the privacy & security since on the lock screen no one is in control....hence the need to login (authenticate).
Unfortunately we have no idea why it is displaying that warning symbol. It could indicate a possible issue with the battery, or perhaps the system just had trouble communicating with the battery (timing issue) and/or the privacy & security interfered. Just pay attention to the battery icon while logged into your user account while using the laptop.
This has been an issue ever since macOS 14.x Sonoma. While it got better with Sequoia, I have still seen issues for the information displayed on the Lock Screen.
