How to restore swipe-to-select feature for 'cut', 'copy', and 'paste' options on iPhone

i’ve noticed, that with the new update, the feature to select a word and search bar(?) - the ‘cut’, ‘copy’, ‘paste’ etc has changed, before when you wanted to translate or define a word, all you had to do was swipe the bar and it will take you to the next slide of options but now you have to manually press the arrow for more options.

does anyone know how to return that feature to swipe instead of tap?
