iPhone 13 Pro randomly turning ringer to silent ios 26

Randomly, I will realize my notifications are buzzing instead of playing sound, even though the button is set on RINGER. When I turn it off and on again, it goes back to making sound. Also, the image showing RINGER or SILENT says RINGER, but the icon is a red bell with a line through it, like it would be if set on SILENT. Has anyone experienced this or have a fix?

After updating to iOS 17.4.1 I have no notification sounds at all on my iPhone Since the latest update I can’t get my ringer or any notifications to sound. Videos, music, etc all play no problem. No sound with notifications. I have an iphone 11. I noticed there is no sound when i get a notification. I did some stuff in settings and i got this thing where i can make it how loud the ringer is, but even if the sound is on the icon is crossed (pic below) what do i do? I dont have do not disturb on.
