Touch Bar missing after MacOS Tahoe update on Mac

So I updated MacOS Tahoe today to my Mac Pro, and my touch bar is gone! Its black! It's not even showing up under the keyboard. It’s nowhere to be found. Can someone please help me with this? I took it to the Apple Store and they told me it would be $600+ for them to fix it! I tried restarting it I tried shutting it down and rebooting it still nothing 😭

Sounds like the Touchbar has failed. Just to eliminate an issue with third party software....try booting into Recovery Mode to see if the Touchbar works there.

If this is an M-series Mac, then try running the Apple Diagnostics. See if there is a Touchbar test there....I know there is one for Keyboard, Trackpad, and even TouchID IIRC. I just don't recall if there was a test for the Touchbar.

You can try booting into Safe Mode to see if the Touchbar works. I don't recall if the Touchbar is available while booted into Safe Mode. If the Touchbar does work in Safe Mode, then you most likely have an issue with some third party software you have installed on the system.
