Unable to erase and remove my iPhone 4S from my Apple Account

"Unable to erase and remove my iPhone 4S from my Apple Account: I have an old iPhone 4S that i still use because of the 3.5mm audio jack but recently I've been plagued by 'Sign in to icloud' warning and it's becoming unusable how frequently it pops up... I also cannot remove my icloud from the phone for the same reasons I'm unable to sign in... Tried [Removing' the device from my icloud hoping that it would work that way but no luck. Has anyone any suggestions to erase the phone please? Thanks in Advance"

Signing out of iCloud on an iPhone 4S:

Sign out of your Apple ID on it (in what is believe is preferences"). iCloud will then be logged out of.

Verify your Devices:

Verify that this device is nor logged in to your Apple Account, by using this link: Check your Apple ID Device List to See where you're Signed in - Apple Support
