My iPhone 17 pro max’s camera unit including the camera, Face ID and flashlight suddenly stops working after a period of charging. It only works after I reboot the phone again. I usually leave the phone to charge overnight. It has happened four times so far.
It happened after updating to iOS 26.0.1

If that doesn’t work you can try resetting all settings.

If neither works, contact Apple Support.
If the device is within Apple’s 14 day return policy, I’d return it. If you’re outside the return period, please have Apple perform diagnostics on your iPhone. So, you’re having issues with both the rear facing cameras (3) and the front facing camera (selfie) and TruthDepth (Face ID) camera?
Yes. After a period of charging, the cameras stop working and I’m unable to use FaceID

The cameras and FaceID do work immediately after a force restart. They keep working until I charge the phone
