I have been using fingerprint log in on my Mac Air for years, I recently up graded to Sequoia 15.7.1 and since then only occasionally the Mac will display the bio log in. Maybe once out of 10 times do I get the bio login.

I have the same problem and posted about it a week ago. Only one responder said they have the same issue. Provide feedback to Apple here, so that maybe they can/will fix it in an update. Doesn't seem widespread, so not holding my breath.
