IOS 26 has caused my iPad 10 to become very unresponsive.

Since updating to IOS26 my iPad 10 has become quite unresponsive to touch. If I reboot it fixes the issue, but only for about 24 hours and then it returns. Swiping just doesn’t do much in most settings. Even trying to reboot is difficult as you need to swipe to confirm. I have tried completely restoring my iPad, but it didn’t change anything. It is several weeks since I updated, so all indexing etc must be long finished.

i would would go back to an earlier iOS if i could, but that option seems to be closed. Please help.
