Unable to access Guest User after update

As per subject. Recently updated my Mac to Tahoe 26.0.1 and now I am unable to set and access a Guest user account. After update I unchecked file vault and set guest user account in settings. I can see a greyed out icon in the drop down if I select my account in the menu bar. When I select Guest User I am taken to the login screen but no actual log in option apart from my normal account where I enter password etc. Have used successfully in the past on previous OS.

Tried turning off guest users, log out all users, restart, log in, add guest user, log out, restart again. Now good.

Did you reboot after you unlocked the FileVault?

If still having trouble I might suggest you do a SafeBoot Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support will sort many anomalies

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.
