After upgrading to iOS 26.0.1 iPhone 15 crashes into recovery mode after opening App Library

After upgrading to iOS 26.0.1 I noticed that depending on the time of day (10pm-1am) the iPhone would crash when swiping to App Library. after the phone restarts, when I tried to get into App Library again, the iPhone completely shuts down and goes into recovery mode. This never happened with previous updates (iOS 26, iOS 18). It doesn’t happen frequently but it just happens randomly and affects the use of the phone.

This fix has been offered by another member as a workaround.

Make sure all your data is sync’d to iCloud, and also make a good backup.

Erase the phone

Set up again without use of any other device or backup ie set up as new

Back up the phone, Erase all content & settings, Set up the phone again, restoring the backup.

Then add back credit cards, add apps manually, sign back into accounts etc.
