I was looking for newly downloaded wallpapers in the folder "4KSDR240FPS" and they weren't showing. Is it possible that these files are sent to another folder even though I do not believe that I have changed any settings? What could the issue be, and how could I resolve this?

Are your wallpapers available through the System Settings...?

What I see— this was the path back in macOS Sonoma...from the Finder>Go>Go to Folder copy & paste:
/Library/Application Support/com.apple.idleassetsd/Customer/4KSDR240FPS
I see nothing in that folder....in macOS Tahoe(?)
However in macOS Tahoe see if this gets you any closer...Finder>Go>Go To Folder copy & paste:
/Library/Application Support/com.apple.idleassetsd/
