Issue with Taptic Engine, can it resolve itself on its own?

Hello. Recently my iPhone 15 started making a different, somewhat louder noise when using haptic functions: it was essentially like a loud "click", whereas the ordinary sound from the Taptic Engine is a more muffled click. It used to occur roughly every other time a haptic function was activated, so for example, when enabling the flashlight from the start screen, it made an off-sounding noise, but when disabling the flashlight, it made the normal sound. This strange noise occurred after I had dropped my phone from a roughly 30 cm height (with a case). However, after a few days, the issue seems to have disappeared, and now it makes the regular sound it made before. I don't know exactly how the Taptic Engine works, but I was wondering if it is possible that the mechanism sort of "self-corrected" after some time (and haptic activations) had passed?

I was considering turning it in for service, as I bought the phone recently and it is thus under warranty. However, if the issue isn't detectable, I have to foot the bill for troubleshooting. So, what should I do here?

Thank you.

So I take it that whatever the issue is with the Taptic Engine unit, it is unlikely to affect to other parts of the phone?

If so, do you know if I can let it function as usual? Certain apps, like "Duolingo" (with haptics enabled) use pretty elaborate "haptic signatures". That should be fine to enable, surely? It's just strange that the issue persisted for a few days and has now seemingly disappeared, everything sounds normal again; that's why I figured that the Taptic Engine can sort of inadvertently "self-correct", but I don't know if that is the case.
