iOS 26 bug on iPhone - Lock screen camera shortcut displays black screen

When my phone is locked and I access the camera shorcut, screen turns black and nothing happens. I always have to “restart” the process by: pressing the lock button to dim the screen > pressing the lock button to wake screen > pressing the camera shortcut again.

But when I swipe to left while on the lock screen, camera loads succesfully.

I have an iPhone 13 Mini, while my partner has an iPhone 13. This happens to both of us CONSISTENTLY ever since we updated to iOS 26 last month.

We already updated to the latest patch and did SEVERAL phone restarts.

Try deleting the shortcut and either creating a new one or down the camera shortcut. My shortcut works fine. If this is too confusing or above your skill level, please contact Apple Support.
