My MacAir M4 has been downloading Apple Intelligence for months. In settings, the system reports 100% complete but the little icon is spinning.. Any ideas?

Try to force downloading again by changing language for one of unsupported and back to the original one
The fix described worked for me. Just change to another language then change it back. Good luck!
I have only had my computer for about 24 hours. Apple Intelligence is still "in progress", I tried changing Siri languages and back again, no change.
Is there a way to STOP it and restart? I wasn't even going to use it, but it appears my Pages won't work without it and that is what I mostly do with this computer. Every time I open it I get the spinning color wheel and have to Force Quit.
I can't go back to my old computer because it is about to implode at 13 years old.

I don't see a way to change that setting in the Siri and Apple Intelligence settings. Is there another setting I should use?
