iOS 26 on iPhone 17 Pro – Disappointing Performance and Bugs

I recently upgraded to the iPhone 17 Pro and was excited to experience the latest hardware paired with iOS 26. Unfortunately, the reality has been quite disappointing.

The device feels clumsy, slow, and frequently unresponsive. Basic tasks like switching between apps or typing messages are noticeably laggy. There are numerous bugs — for example, the message input line randomly disappears in apps like Viber and iMessage, making communication frustrating.

Compared to my previous iPhone 14 Pro running iOS 18, this feels like a major step backward. The user experience is nowhere near as smooth or reliable. It’s hard to believe this is Apple’s flagship device with the latest OS.

Is anyone else experiencing similar issues? Any tips or updates from Apple on when this might be addressed?
