Samsung T9 external SSD drive shared between Mac and Windows based BC and unreadable files

I have a Samsung external SSD drive I use to shuttle data from my MacBook Pro and Mac based operating systems to an assistant using a PC / windows based systems. When I received the SSD back after asking the assistant to complete a transfer of all files from the SSD to our server - the device was "unreadable" on my MacBook Pro. When I run "first aid" on the Samsung SSD using the MacBook Pro I have an option to "restore" the device. The file that auto lists to be restored to the SSD is "Apple SSD AP1024Z Media". I am not familiar with the file name as I did not create it knowingly and I think it is either an auto generated temp file name or something I do not understand. Before committing to pressing "restore" I thought someone in the community may be able to offer some insights.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 15.6

Don't touch the "Restore" option in Disk Utility. It takes data from one location & overwrites the destination.

First Aid is the only item in Disk Utility meant for attempting repairs to a file system.

The "Apple SSD AP1024Z Media" is the physical internal SSD of your Mac.
