iPhone 17 Speaker Phone Excessively Loud Background Noise

I’m having an issue with volume when the other caller is on speaker.

It amplifies the background noise to such an extreme level that it’s impossible to hear the other caller.

It’s worse if I’m also on speaker as well.

It can be that they’re using water faucet, or just putting away dishes, or just walking outside.

The background noise is so extreme I have to turn down the volume but then I can’t hear their voice because of that either.
