EERO home network WiFi devices go offline when iPhone leaves home

We have an EERO 6 WiFi router with two EERO 6 WiFi extenders - all with up to date firmware. I have an iPhone 16e - updated to IOS 26. When I leave home and the local WiFi home network with my iPhone, the three EERO devices go offline within about five minutes. They remain offline for about ten minutes, then go back online. When I return, they remain online.

I don't have a VPN installed on the iPhone. I do have an Apple Watch - connected to the iPhone. There's no personal hotspot on.

My wife has an iPhone. This problem does not happen when she leaves home.

We found a possible cause of this issue - Private WiFi Address setting. My iPhone was set to Private WiFi address ON. My wife's iPhone had Private WiFi address turned OFF. So, I tested my iPhone by turning this setting OFF and leaving the house for 30 minutes. My wife, monitoring the EERO console, saw NO devices go offline in my absence. We will continue testing this possible solution - ON / OFF. My wife's solution is for me to never leave the house again. So, I am a bit anxious to arrive at a better solution.

Contact the manufacturer of the devices. Those are not Apple products. I can't imagine why they would go offline when you leave.

I posted this issue to the EERO Reddit community as well. This problem does seem to be related to my iPhone, which is why I posted here.

I have no doubt it's "related" but your phone does not have any magic that would command your devices to go offline when it's been gone for some period of time.

If that's truly what's triggering it, it's a bug in the EERO system, not a fault with the phone.
