I setup a used Toshiba tv with a fire stick that had all my apps signed in. All my streaming apps are fine except for Apple TV. There is no audio to go along with the video. I have deleted the app from my firestick, redownloaded it and reset the settings in the app and still get no audio. Extremely frustrating and been going on for weeks.
No audio from what? The TV speakers? A sound bar? Bluethooth something or other? If it is something other than the built in TV speakers how is it connected HDMI ARC? Optical Out? Also if it is something other than the TV's speakers try using the TV speakers. If that works the device in question is too old to support the current selected audio encoding. You could also try (In the appleTV app not the device settings.) Settings > Video and Audio and try changing the Audio Format selected options, and or turning off some of the other audio encoding fanciness.
