Flex pitch problems with automation

Hi everyone: I'm having a problem with Logic's automation. Basically, if I change the volume or anything else on any track while the project is playing in READ automation mode, the track with pitch flex enabled seems to lose sync (if it were vinyl, I'd say the needle would skip during playback). For example, if automation points are created (on any other track in the project), the track with pitch flex enabled skips during playback. It's as if the audio file isn't playing correctly. Disabling flex works fine.

The problem occurs even if there are no plug-ins in the project (either Logic or third-party ones) and if the track with flex enabled is the only one in the entire project.

This happens to me in every project. Tested with a Mac Studio Ultra M1 and MacBook Pro M4, both with OS 15.5 and Logic 11.2.1.
