Should photos and video saved in iCloud on Mac show up on my iPhone camera roll?

Hi all I love my apple macbook and mac studio so decided to switch from Android to iPhone. I export a lot of videos on my mac studio with the intention of posting them on Instagram on my phone. My plan was to save the file to my iCloud folder in finder and then hope that when I click the + in instagram and choose post, I would see the file that has sync'd to my phone via iCloud but it is now showing up.

Is this possible?
