Apple watch not announcing workout split times when listening to music

I have an Apple Watch 6 and AirPods Pro. When listening to apple music while working out (and using the Workout app), split times used to be announced over the top of the music. After updating to Watch OS26, the split times are no longer announced through the AirPods.

I have Voice Feedback turned on for workouts.

Any suggestions on how to get this function back, or has this function been deprecated?

During workout Apple Watch stops music I downloaded a Fitness+ Time to Run to my Apple Watch; connected my AirPods to the Watch; and went out for a run. When I started the workout, the music and commentary stopped after about 15 seconds. If I stopped the music and left the Watch alone for a bit, it would play another 15 seconds when I started it up again then peter out. Why is this happening and what can I do to fix it?

Very slow saving and syncing of custom running workouts since watchOS 26.1 The saving and syncing behavior of running workouts has changed with watchOS 26.1. "Open runs" take noticeably longer to save, and after completion, the Workout app remains open longer than before, or rather, the green icon (top center) remains visible longer. The difference compared to previous versions is only around 20-30 seconds, so it's not a big deal. However, custom workouts (interval training) take several minutes to save or don't save at all, forcing me to force quit the Workout app. As a result, the saved running workout is then lost. I have an Apple Watch Ultra 3.

Random lower volume and returns back to normal whilst listening to music on my Apple Watch to my AirPods So I have been listening to music off from my Apple Watch to my AirPods lately, and it would randomly lower the volume for a quick second and back to how I set it, but when I listen of from my iPhone and MacBook, it is perfect, does anyone knows why?
