It takes 12 hours for software update when I set up my apple watch

I am trying to repair my Apple Watch again to my new iPhone 16 Plus, but it takes 12 hours for watch OS 11.6.1 updating. I unpaired the watch from the old phone and paired it again to the new phone by restarting the factory default. Does it mean my Apple Watch has a problem?

Did you pair the watch to your new iPhone after you have restored the new iPhone from the backup of the old one?

Make sure, that the watch and the iPhone stay connected to the same Wi-Fi by charging them at the same time, and putting them right next to each other.
