hi. my daughter has a new iphone. looking to transfer over her data / apps from her old iphone. my ex husband has used his apple ID on her old phone. I want to create a new apple ID for her. how is best to do all of this?
I should add he won’t give me or daughter password to do this
This is going to be problematic. If your ex won't share his Apple Account with her, you need to set up the new phone with her own Apple ID and start all over again. Chances are what is most important to your daughter are the photos on her iPhone. The short answer is, you don't.
Apple and data are tied to the ID. If she is getting a new phone, set up a new Apple ID for her. She will need to start from scratch.
