Beta updates not downloading on iPhone

If you have an iPhone X as your tag line suggests, your phone is up to date at iOS 16.7.2. Your phone cannot be updated higher, beta version or not. There are no more beta versions which can be supported on your iPhone. And iOS 16.7.2 is the end of the line for an iPhone X. If you want or need a higher iOS version, then it's time to retire your outdated iPhone and buy a new iPhone.

Are you and your device(s) signed up for the beta program? It’s definitely not recommended if it’s your only device. I’ve had to erase and reset my devices multiple times over the years as an Appleseed beta tester. After all it’s beta software and until the Release Candidate (RC) version is released it’s got bugs. But if you like being on bleeding edge, signup and download the software.
